Grounds & Maintenance Attendant – Ocean Beach Resort

About the role

Join the NRMA Ocean Beach Holiday Resort team as a Casual Grounds or Maintenance Attendant. You will work outdoors across a roster from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, helping keep the resort safe, welcoming and guest‑ready during the busy holiday season.

Key responsibilities

• Mow lawns, prune, hedge, weed and maintain gardens and landscaped areas.
• Keep outdoor spaces clean, tidy and ready for guests, including pathways and recreational areas.
• Assist with irrigation, pool inspections and basic pool maintenance.
• Carry out general repairs on cabins, amenities and resort facilities, including painting, minor carpentry and basic repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests, perform preventative tasks and support resort projects.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, practical approach with willingness to roll up sleeves.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to safety and safe work practices.
• Good physical fitness for outdoor work.
• Current driver’s licence (highly regarded).
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and peak periods.

Required skills

• Operation of grounds‑maintenance equipment such as mowers and landscaping tools.
• Basic pool maintenance and inspection.
• Painting, minor carpentry and general repair skills.
