Graphic Designer (6‑month temporary contract)

About the role

Our client, a state government organisation, is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer for a 6‑month short‑term temporary contract with the possibility of extension. You will create a wide range of print and digital communication materials while ensuring alignment with organisational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce publications, reports, graphics, and promotional content for both print and digital channels.
• Maintain and update the branding style guide, ensuring consistent presentation across all materials.
• Manage relationships with external printers and service providers, overseeing production quality, timelines, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Proofread and edit materials to ensure content accuracy, brand compliance, and adherence to government standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar graphic design role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior management and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for both print and digital media.
