Graduate Speech Pathologist (Brendale)

About the role

An allied health practice offering paediatric speech pathology, occupational therapy and psychology across four clinics in Brisbane is recruiting a graduate speech pathologist for its 2027 Grad Program at the Brendale clinic. The role is hybrid, combining clinic-based work with community work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of experienced practitioners.

Key responsibilities

• Work with a slow build-up in caseload, supported by experienced Senior Speech Pathologists
• Receive weekly 1:1 internal supervision for the first 6 months, then fortnightly peer supervision
• Take part in monthly in-service professional development led by senior practitioners

Required profile

• Full Australian work rights
• Registration as a Speech Pathologist with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (SPA), or eligibility to obtain it
• Degree in Speech Pathology
• Police check and Working with Children check (or ability to obtain them before starting)

What we offer

• Salary package of $80,000 base, $9,600 superannuation and up to $3,000 PD allowance, total $92,600
• Up to 12 weeks additional paid parental leave and up to 5 weeks annual leave including bonus leave
• $3,000 professional development budget and regular in-service PD
• Flexible hours between 7.30am and 5.30pm, with the option to work from home and choose clinic and community days
• Dedicated admin support and autonomy over your calendar
