Graduate Program – Suburban Rail Loop Authority 2027

About the role

The Suburban Rail Loop Authority is launching a two‑year Graduate Program starting February 2027. Graduates will rotate across up to four six‑month placements, gaining hands‑on experience on Australia’s largest rail infrastructure project while contributing to the future of Victoria.

Key responsibilities

• Complete four 6‑month rotations aligned with your discipline and career goals.
• Participate in an Alliance Embedment rotation to work directly with industry delivery partners.
• Engage in structured workshops, site visits, and project work to develop technical and professional capabilities.
• Collaborate with senior leaders, technical specialists, and cross‑functional teams across SRLA.
• Support the delivery of the Suburban Rail Loop, contributing to design, planning, communications, legal, or commercial aspects as required.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (or final‑year student) with a degree in engineering, communications, commerce, law or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated interest in large‑scale infrastructure projects and public‑service outcomes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Willingness to work flexibly and adapt to rotating team environments.

Required skills

• Ability to analyse data and present findings clearly.
• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite).
• Team‑oriented mindset with capacity to build professional networks.
