Graduate Occupational Therapist

About the role

Altius Group, a rehabilitation services provider founded in 2001, is hiring a Graduate Occupational Therapist (Rehabilitation Consultant) in its Rehabilitation Services by Altius department in Miranda. You will help injured, ill or disabled people recover, regain independence and return to work, with mentorship from Senior Consultants and a hybrid workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Develop personalised rehabilitation plans using a whole-of-person approach
• Complete assessments such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
• Identify return-to-work pathways aligned with recovery milestones
• Use clinical experience and injury management knowledge to assess claimants and support their return to work
• Work with clients, families, insurers, employers and other healthcare professionals, presenting case information and recommending solutions

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA registration
• Full Australian working rights
• Current driver's licence and car
