Graduate Geologist – 8/6 FIFO (Perth)

About the role

Catalyst Metals is seeking a Graduate Geologist to join its underground mining operation on an 8/6 FIFO roster starting January 2027. The role offers exposure to both underground and open‑pit mining, as well as exploration drilling campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret complex ore bodies, develop detailed geological models and support up to six months of production planning.
• Collaborate with mining and technical services to ensure safe, predictable production outcomes and maintain data quality.
• Contribute to resource definition and grade‑control programs that directly feed the operational model.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Geology.
• Commitment to safety, health, environment and technical standards.
• Current manual driver’s licence and ability to obtain police clearance, medical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Australian permanent residency or appropriate work permit.

Required skills

• Geological modelling.
• Interpretation of complex mineral deposits.
