Graduate Engineer – Fixed Wing Aircraft (C130J Hercules)

About the role

Airbus Australia Pacific is seeking recent engineering graduates with a passion for aviation to join its 2026 Graduate Engineering Program. The role focuses on delivering engineering solutions for the C130J Hercules fixed‑wing aircraft, covering design, in‑service support and a variety of technical challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and manage engineering tasks, including advice, repairs and modifications.
• Conduct technical investigations and propose improvements to engineering instructions.
• Support continued operation of in‑service products and develop engineering advice for Continued Airworthiness.
• Maintain engineering records, data files and electronic databases to ensure accurate reporting.
• Participate in 2‑3 rotations across different business units over an 18‑month period, including a week with the Deeper Maintenance team.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Software or a related discipline.
• High personal and professional integrity and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to engage in technical investigations.
