About the role
We are looking for a motivated Graduate Developer to join our technology team on a fully remote basis in Australia. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates who want to start a career in software development, working alongside experienced engineers and gaining exposure to modern development practices and cloud technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code under senior guidance.
- Participate in code reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, testers, and project teams.
- Help with software deployment, maintenance, and enhancements.
- Contribute to technical documentation and development standards.
- Take part in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and team meetings.
- Learn and apply software engineering best practices and development methodologies.
Required profile
- Strong interest in software development and technology.
- Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
Required skills
- Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with databases, web development, and APIs.
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of Git version control.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and SDLC concepts.
