Software Developer (React / Next.JS)

About the role

McCosker Contracting is looking for a Software Developer to join its Brisbane office on a 12‑month contract (potential for ongoing work). You will work Monday‑Friday, 42 hours per week, contributing to the design, development and maintenance of internal business systems that support the company's operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications using React and Next.js.
• Build back‑end services and APIs with Node.js.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for relational databases.
• Integrate software solutions to improve efficiency and reliability across the business.
• Collaborate with a team of IT professionals and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
