Graduate - Audit & Assurance

About the role

RSM Australia is a member of RSM, the world's 6th largest network of audit, tax and consulting firms, with over 100 years of experience supporting Australian businesses. The Adelaide Audit & Assurance division is looking for graduates to join its team, who are able to learn fundamental skills and eager to build a career in audit. The role suits candidates who have recently completed their studies or are scheduled to finish by the end of 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a basic ability to apply fundamental audit skills as incorporated in the RSM audit process.
• Develop a basic understanding of Accounting and Audit Standards.
• Develop a working knowledge of the fundamental electronic audit tools.
• Perform audit testing as directed and in accordance with RSM policies and procedures.
• Complete allocated tasks according to directions given.
• Maintain personal documentation such as training records, timesheets and expenses.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Commerce with an Accounting major.
• Studies already completed or scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026.
• Plan to begin further studies to obtain a relevant approved professional certification or postgraduate study within 12 months of starting the role.
• Strong communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
