Corporate Tax Manager / Senior Manager

About the role

William Buck, a network of Chartered Accountants and Advisors founded in 1895, is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join its Tax Services team in Adelaide. You will lead engagements and build trusted relationships with mid-market clients across diverse industries, delivering strategic advisory and compliance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain client engagement and relationships through trusted advisory and proactive support
• Prepare and review Tax Effect Accounting Calculations and Consolidated Income Tax Returns
• Consider international tax issues such as transfer pricing, hybrid mismatches and the Controlled Foreign Company regime
• Carry out tax due diligence engagements
• Review Fringe Benefits Tax Returns
• Provide restructure and rollover advice for complex transactions
• Help deliver technical training and mentor junior staff
• Assist with business development, tenders and other client pursuits
• Advise internal divisions on complex taxation matters

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (or similar) and progression towards or completion of CA, CPA, CTA or MTax qualifications
• Prior experience in a Big Four or mid-tier corporate tax division is highly regarded
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team player attitude, high level of professionalism and enthusiasm
