Graduate Accountant

About the role

Plenary is seeking an ambitious recent accounting graduate to join its Finance team in Sydney on a full‑time basis. You will work in a small, high‑performing team supporting the end‑to‑end accounting, tax and compliance obligations of complex infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly accounts, annual financial statements and tax returns.
• Forecast and calculate equity returns, debt obligations and project budgeting.
• Update financial models and produce equity board and lender reports.
• Conduct investor financial analysis and assist with ad‑hoc commercial matters.

Required profile

• Accounting degree with experience in a similar accounting or tax role.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Resilient, ethical and eager to learn continuously.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel (excluding VBA/Macros).
• Experience with accounting software such as Technology One, MYOB and SAP.
