Grader Operator

About the role

Rokon is seeking a skilled Grader Operator to join its civil construction team on projects throughout Melbourne. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining grading equipment to deliver high‑quality earthworks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, position, and operate the grader safely and efficiently.
• Monitor plant performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Interpret and work from drawings provided by Site Supervisors and Project Engineers.
• Follow all safe operating procedures and site safety protocols.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating a grader with final trim capability.
• Recent civil construction experience, especially in bulk earthworks.
• Competent use of GPS equipment.
• High initiative, ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Current driver’s licence and relevant plant and OHS tickets.
• White‑card (OH&S induction) and willingness to complete a pre‑employment medical assessment.
