GP and Specialist Liaison Coordinator

About the role

St Vincent's Private Hospital Werribee is looking for a GP and Specialist Liaison Coordinator for a permanent part-time role (0.4 FTE) based at the Werribee campus. The position strengthens relationships between the hospital, GPs, specialists and the wider healthcare community, and reports to the Business Development Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Implement GP engagement programs and coordinate events promoting the hospital's specialists and services
• Visit key stakeholders in the community, build new business and sustain outreach to the medical community
• Build and maintain relationships with GPs, specialists and practice teams
• Organise and promote GP education sessions and hospital events
• Support marketing initiatives that highlight the hospital and its specialists
• Work with hospital executives and the marketing team to drive referral growth
• Conduct regular visits to GP practices, specialists and other locations as required

Required profile

• Prior experience in sales, marketing or business development within the healthcare industry
• Healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience (preferred)
• Proven success building relationships with specialists, GPs, allied health professionals and other stakeholders
• Ability to develop and execute a hospital and specialist growth strategy
• Strong organisational and reporting skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle, as site visits are required
• Criminal record and child protection checks are part of the selection criteria

Required skills

• RACGP QI&CPD Program Endorsed Provider qualification preferred; the candidate will need to complete the RACGP accreditation course
• Competent IT skills, including a CRM reporting system
