Global Head of Supply Chain

About the role

Aletek, a partner to tier‑one mining and natural‑resource companies, is seeking a Global Head of Supply Chain to drive efficiency across its worldwide operations. This senior leader will shape the supply‑chain strategy, ensure safety standards, and lead digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a global supply‑chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain the highest safety standards for people, equipment, and facilities.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives, lean processes, and efficiency improvements.
• Lead global sourcing, negotiate supplier contracts, and uphold sustainable, ethical practices.
• Oversee demand and supply planning, including forecasting, S&OP, and inventory optimization.
• Manage global logistics, transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks.
• Drive digital supply‑chain projects such as planning systems, traceability, and real‑time analytics.
• Ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, and customer requirements.
• Develop strategic supplier partnerships, dual‑source strategies, and risk‑mitigation plans.
• Build, mentor, and engage a high‑performing, multicultural supply‑chain team.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in senior global supply‑chain leadership roles within manufacturing.
• Experience managing multicultural teams across multiple regions.
• Proven track record in global sourcing, procurement negotiations, NPI support, and strategy development.
• Strong knowledge of S&OP, inventory management, logistics, and warehousing operations.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations, compliance, and sustainability practices.
• Project‑management training and experience.
