About the role
The Geriatric Evaluation and Management and GEM@Home Unit at Werribee Mercy Hospital is seeking a Registrar to join a multidisciplinary team delivering specialist inpatient care, rehabilitation and community outreach.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical care on a 30‑bed geriatric ward, including GEM, TCP and rehabilitation services.
- Participate in ACAS rounds and specialist outpatient clinics.
- Collaborate with geriatricians, advanced trainees, registrars, HMOs, interns and allied health professionals.
Required profile
- Resilient, compassionate and committed to patient‑centred care.
- Excellent clinical, time‑management, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly across day, night and weekend shifts.
- Valid full driver’s licence, current police and Working with Children checks, and up‑to‑date vaccinations.
