General Practitioner – Occupational Health

About the role

RediMed is looking for an experienced General Practitioner with a strong interest in occupational health to join its flagship clinic at Brisbane Airport. You will deliver high‑quality occupational healthcare across a broad scope of practice, supporting both workers and employers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑employment medicals, including coal board examinations.
• Medically manage workplace injuries and illnesses to achieve safe return‑to‑work outcomes.
• Provide injury management, health surveillance, and wellbeing advice within a multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Willingness to obtain Examining Medical Officer (Coal Board) qualification if not already held.
• Valid National Police Clearance and medical indemnity insurance.
• Commitment to continuing professional development and patient‑centred care.

Required skills

• Occupational health assessment and pre‑employment medical examinations.
• Injury management and return‑to‑work planning.
