General Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

Minor Hotels is seeking experienced hospitality leaders for General Manager positions across its portfolio in Western Australia. The role involves leading all aspects of hotel operations, driving commercial performance, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of presentation, service, and financial performance.
• Develop and implement strategic revenue plans.
• Manage and mentor department heads including Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Front Office.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders such as Body Corporate, Strata Managers, and local business partners.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, licensing, and caretaking obligations.
• Identify improvement areas and develop strategic procedures.
• Lead, motivate, and maintain a high‑performing team culture.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a General Manager, Resort Manager or equivalent senior hospitality leadership role.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Experience leading multi‑department hotel or resort operations.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and service excellence.
• Success in developing, leading and engaging high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Hands‑on leadership style adaptable to evolving business needs.
