Gas Trainer and Assessor – Type A & B

About the role

Bizmatrix Education is seeking an experienced gas professional to join its training team at the Brendale centre. The role involves delivering practical Type A and Type B gas training, demonstrating safe work practices, and coaching learners of varying experience levels.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver or support practical Type A and Type B gas training at the Brendale training centre.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and help students apply technical knowledge to real equipment and workplace situations.
• Coach learners with different levels of experience and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Prepare training equipment and resources, contribute to course improvements and maintain accurate training records.
• Conduct assessments when appropriately qualified.
• Potentially deliver restricted electrical training for suitably qualified candidates.

Required profile

• Strong, current hands‑on experience across Type A and Type B gas work.
• Relevant gas qualifications, licences or authorisations.
• Sound understanding of safe work practices and ability to troubleshoot and explain technical issues.
• Good communication skills, patience, reliability and a genuine interest in helping others learn.
• Willingness to work toward required training and assessment credentials if not already held.
