Full‑time Veterinary Receptionist in Bedford, Perth

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, full‑time Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and pets at our Bedford veterinary clinic in Perth. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional client care, supporting the veterinary team and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients and their animals on arrival and answer phone enquiries.
• Book appointments and manage the practice management system.
• Process payments, issue receipts and handle banking duties.
• Prepare patient admission paperwork and estimates for procedures.
• Assist with patient triage and provide basic advice on vaccinations, nutrition and parasite prevention.
• Support veterinarians and nurses with day‑to‑day clinic tasks.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a reception or customer‑service role, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a practice management software.
