About the role

Telstra is hiring a full-time Store Manager for its Burnie store. The role leads store operations, coaches assistant managers and senior consultants and aligns local execution to area sales and service objectives. It suits someone with recent retail management experience who wants to lead from the front and develop a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the store team and coach assistant managers and senior consultants
• Ensure store KPIs (sales and customer service) are met
• Develop and nurture a customer-experience-focused team in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain an inclusive store culture
• Identify and lead the recruitment of new store team members
• Collaborate with team members, lead performance reviews and help grow their careers

Required profile

• Demonstrated recent people leadership success in a target-driven retail sales environment
• Able to energise and drive a team to exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Able to resolve customer issues creatively
• Experience leading teams through change (products or systems)
