About the role

Telstra is recruiting a full-time Customer Service & Sales Consultant for its Melbourne Flagship Store. The role provides frontline support by helping customers choose products, activate services and troubleshoot basic issues, while delivering positive experiences through good communication and adherence to retail standards. It suits people who are already experienced in retail or who want to build a career.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and service activation
• Help customers find the products and solutions that suit their needs
• Troubleshoot basic issues and deliver a positive customer experience

Required profile

• Enjoys connecting with people and creating great experiences
• Curious, solution-oriented and motivated by goals
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
• Previous customer service or retail experience is not essential

What we offer

• Annual fixed remuneration of $71,330 per year (junior rates apply for those under 20)
• Penalty rates: 25% extra for weekday hours after 6 PM, 25% on Saturdays, 100% on Sundays and 150% on public holidays
