About the role

Star Phones Australia is seeking a Full Stack Developer to own and evolve its websites, eCommerce platforms, integrations and digital automation projects. You will work autonomously to design, build and maintain scalable solutions that support the retailer’s growing online presence.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain company websites and eCommerce platforms.
Implement API integrations, automation workflows and inventory synchronization systems.
Build internal business applications and cloud infrastructure deployments.
Design and deliver AI‑powered business solutions and automation.

Required profile

Self‑motivated problem solver who can work with minimal supervision.
Creative thinker able to design smart, scalable solutions.
Strong portfolio demonstrating built systems and real‑world business impact.
Student visa holders are welcome to apply.

Required skills

JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, responsive web design.
Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, authentication & authorization, API security, webhooks, background/cron jobs.
PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, database design and query optimisation.
AWS, Railway, Vercel, Netlify, Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
MedusaJS, Stripe, product catalog management, inventory synchronization, Strapi.
Experience with AI applications, OpenAI APIs, AI agents, automation and machine learning is a plus.
