Full Stack Developer – Senior (Hybrid, Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Join Revenue NSW’s digital team to deliver modern, customer‑focused services across New South Wales. You will work on multiple transformation programmes, building micro‑services and front‑end applications that improve core systems and user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java micro‑services and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Build reusable React.js components with Storybook and manage state with Redux, Context API and React Query.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in testing, QA, release activities and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to meet requirements and standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience developing complex full‑stack applications.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Proven ability to work in Agile delivery environments.
• Comfortable maintaining legacy systems while driving modernization.

Required skills

• Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture.
• React.js, Storybook, Redux, Context API, React Query.
• AWS services (S3, CloudFront, Cognito, API Gateway) and Terraform.
• Git (GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Relational (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases.
