Full Stack Developer

About the role

Coras is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join its Canberra or Sydney office on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will own end‑to‑end delivery of both internal and client‑facing projects, working in agile sprints and, when required, embedding with customer teams on‑site. The role combines front‑end development in React with back‑end services in Python or .NET Core, supported by Azure cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in agile sprint activities including backlog grooming, estimation, planning, execution and retrospectives using Azure DevOps.
• Design, develop and maintain front‑end features with React (TypeScript/JavaScript) and back‑end services with Python or .NET Core.
• Create and evolve database schemas, stored procedures and ORM mappings in PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments on Azure.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, unit and integration testing, and adherence to architectural standards.
• Collaborate with UX, QA, product and client stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance development productivity where client security permits.
• Provide on‑site support for client engagements as needed.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a technical discipline.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on development experience with the listed technology stack.
• Experience designing relational database schemas and writing performant SQL queries.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and Azure DevOps tooling.
• Exposure to cloud‑native architectures on Microsoft Azure.
