Front Office Opportunities - Avani Cypress Lakes Resort

About the role

Minor Hotels is recruiting for the Front Office team at Avani Cypress Lakes Resort in the Hunter Valley. Multiple full-time, part-time and casual opportunities are available, across Guest Service Agent and Front Office Supervisor positions. You will be the first point of contact for guests, from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming guest experience
• Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations and general enquiries
• Handle guest requests and resolve concerns professionally and promptly
• Process payments and maintain accurate guest records
• Support the daily operation of the Front Office
• For supervisors: lead, coach and support the team, and ensure brand standards and operational procedures are met

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hotel, resort or customer service environment (preferred)
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for guest service, strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
• Team player and flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and overnight shifts
• Working rights in Australia or New Zealand
• For supervisors: experience leading or supervising a Front Office team (preferred)

Required skills

• Property Management System (PMS) experience is highly regarded
