Front-End Loader / Mill Operator

About the role

A well-established construction materials manufacturer, recruited through Pearl Recruitment Group, is seeking a Front-End Loader / Mill Operator for its Naval Base site on a temp-to-permanent basis. The role suits people with fixed-plant and mobile machinery experience who want ongoing work on a structured 7:7 roster, being home every night.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy fixed-plant and mobile machinery across the manufacturing facility and yard
• Assist with day-to-day production activities
• Perform general manual handling, including some heavy lifting

Required profile

• Loader Operator ticket (essential)
• Forklift licence (essential)
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, with regular testing thereafter
• Full Australian working rights; working holiday visa holders cannot be considered
• Available for an immediate start

Required skills

• Confined space ticket (highly regarded)
• Working at heights ticket (highly regarded)

What we offer

• Flat casual rate of $47.47 per hour plus super, rising to $54.59 per hour plus super on night shifts
• Penalty rates apply for hours worked outside rostered shifts
• 12-hour shifts on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster
