About the role
As the welcoming face of Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour, you will create seamless arrival and departure experiences for guests, delivering elegant service with a genuine "can‑do" attitude.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests with professionalism, set the tone for an exceptional stay and manage check‑in/check‑out procedures.
- Handle guest accounts, cashiering functions and ensure all transactions are accurate and balanced.
- Use the Opera Front Desk system to maintain detailed guest profiles, anticipate VIP arrivals and manage special requests.
- Communicate clearly with guests over the phone and coordinate daily operations with the Front Desk Supervisor and Duty Manager.
Required profile
- Polished presence with a genuine "can‑do" attitude.
- Strong passion for excellence and ability to deliver warm, caring interactions.
- Attention to detail and discretion when handling guest information and financial transactions.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the Opera Front Desk system.
- Cash handling and guest account management.
- Effective verbal communication and teamwork.
