About the role
We are seeking a passionate French Teacher or Teacher Assistant to lead a fun, two‑hour Saturday program at Fitzroy Primary School. This part‑time, self‑employed position focuses on delivering engaging French language sessions to children of various ages and proficiency levels.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver weekly French language lessons that are age‑appropriate and enjoyable.
- Encourage confidence, language development, and cultural awareness among students.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment in line with the school’s policies.
- Communicate professionally with families about each child’s progress and learning journey.
Required profile
- Fluent in French (native‑level proficiency).
- Experience working with early childhood or primary‑age children is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently with strong organisational and communication skills.
- Commitment to adhering strictly to the organisation’s Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct.
