Freight Forwarding Sales Representative

About the role

A leading global logistics and consolidation services provider is looking for a Freight Forwarding Sales Representative based in Sydney (Ryde and Macquarie Park). The role drives business growth by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships and promoting freight consolidation services, working closely with the Managing Director, operations and customer service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Make frequent outbound calls to prospective clients to generate new business
• Develop new business opportunities and manage client relationships for global consolidation services
• Understand clients' freight requirements and recommend suitable logistics solutions
• Follow up on quotes, leads and sales opportunities to convert them into customers
• Work with operations to ensure smooth shipment handling and delivery
• Achieve sales targets and report performance to management
• Maintain accurate CRM records of calls, leads and client interactions
• Monitor competitor pricing and industry trends

Required profile

• Experience in freight forwarding
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
• Results-driven, proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Open to Australian residents only; Pace Appointments does not issue work permits or visas to non-residents
