Freelance Translator – Southern Sotho to English

About the role
IQVIA is seeking freelance translators who are native speakers of Southern Sotho and fluent in English to support life‑sciences content translation. You will work remotely with a global team, delivering clinical trial documents and other regulated materials on tight deadlines.
Key responsibilities
- Translate, review and edit Southern Sotho source texts into accurate English versions for life‑sciences projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry terminology, style guides and regulatory standards.
- Meet project timelines while maintaining high quality and consistency.
Required profile
- Native fluency in Southern Sotho (spoken and written) and fluency in English.
- At least 1 year of experience translating life‑sciences content, including clinical trial documents.
- University degree in translation/linguistics with ≥2 years experience, or no degree with ≥5 years experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with translation management systems and CAT tools.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
