Freelance Portuguese to English Translator for Life Sciences

About the role
IQVIA is seeking freelance translators who are native English speakers with Portuguese fluency to support life‑sciences content. You will join a global community of linguists, delivering clinical trial documents and other scientific material for a leading analytics and research provider.
Key responsibilities
- Translate, review and edit Portuguese source texts into accurate English, focusing on life‑sciences and clinical trial documentation.
- Meet tight deadlines while working independently, using translation management systems and CAT tools.
Required profile
- Native fluency in English (spoken and written) and fluency in Portuguese.
- At least 1 year of experience translating life‑sciences content, clearly detailed in your CV.
- University degree in translation/linguistics with ≥2 years experience, OR no degree with ≥5 years experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with translation management systems.
- Experience using computer‑assisted translation (CAT) tools.
