About the role
IQVIA is seeking freelance translators to convert life‑sciences content from English into Xhosa. You will join a global community of linguists and work on clinical trial documents and other scientific materials for a leading analytics and research provider.
Required profile
- Native fluency in Xhosa (spoken and written) and fluency in English.
- At least 1 year of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life‑sciences content, clearly detailed in your CV.
- University degree in translation/linguistics with ≥2 years of experience, OR no degree with ≥5 years of translation experience.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
- Prior experience with a translation and localisation company is desirable but not essential.
Required skills
- Proficiency with translation management systems.
- Experience using CAT tools.
- Strong knowledge of life‑sciences terminology.
