About the role
IQVIA is seeking freelance translators who can convert English life‑sciences content into Luo. You will join a global community of linguists and work on clinical trial documents and other regulatory materials for a leading analytics and research provider.
Key responsibilities
- Translate, review and edit English life‑sciences documents into Luo, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Deliver translated content within tight deadlines for global markets.
- Collaborate with the IQVIA Translation Services team and use translation management systems to track work.
Required profile
- Native fluency in Luo (spoken and written) and fluency in English.
- At least 1 year of experience translating life‑sciences or clinical trial documents, clearly listed on your CV.
- Either a university degree in translation/linguistics with 2 years of experience, or no degree with 5 years of translation experience.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with translation management systems.
- Experience using CAT tools.
- Strong attention to detail for scientific terminology.
