About the role
A busy Direct Plasterboard Outlet in Canberra is looking for a full-time, experienced licensed forklift operator with a strong work ethic to join its team. The role starts at 7am and suits someone who enjoys working in a warehouse and is a team player.
Key responsibilities
- Loading and unloading plasterboard and related materials
- Liaising with customers
- Picking and packing orders
- Receiving and checking goods
- Stock control, including stock takes
- Following work health and safety procedures
- Helping deliver goods to customers on site when needed
Required profile
- Forklift licence (essential)
- White Card
- Experience in a building supplies or construction warehouse environment
- Strong focus on safe manual handling
- Ability to work within and lead a team
- Reliability, attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
