Forklift Operator - Copper Refinery

About the role

A global resources company with large-scale mining, processing and metals operations across Australia and internationally is looking for experienced large forklift operators for its copper refinery and bulk materials operations. The work is hands-on, involving heavy equipment and industrial materials, and is based in Townsville.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 4T and 16T forklifts around the Casting Department
• Move copper products and materials around the site
• Load furnaces and unload mould areas
• Carry out general labouring, cleaning and maintenance duties

Required profile

• Current forklift licence (LF) - essential
• Experience operating 4T and 16T forklifts - essential
