Food Services Attendant - Transitional Care Services

About the role

The Food Services Attendant supports guest wellbeing in Pullman Adelaide’s Transition Care Service, blending hospitality with healthcare. You will deliver warm, professional meals to patients while ensuring dietary and medical requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections in collaboration with clinical and culinary teams, respecting dietary restrictions.
• Deliver meals to designated floors with professionalism and genuine care.
• Prepare trays and service items with the stewarding team for timely room delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food service areas, following infection control and food safety standards.
• Communicate guest needs or concerns to TCS, dietary, and culinary staff for seamless service.
• Monitor supplies and equipment dedicated to TCS and report issues promptly.
• Uphold Pullman service standards in every interaction.

Required profile

• A caring, service‑focused attitude with a calm and approachable manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with hospitality and healthcare teams.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and pay attention to detail in meal preparation and delivery.
• Composure and reliability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous experience in hospitality or healthcare (preferred but not essential).
• Eligibility for a South Australian Working with Vulnerable People Check and National Police Clearance, and legal right to work in Australia.
