Food Services Assistant

About the role

Estia Health is looking for a Food Services Assistant to help prepare meals and drinks for its residents in aged care. The role is active and on your feet for most of the shift, working with the team and residents to create meals that suit every individual.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food and drink
• Clean, including washing dishes
• Change the menu by working with the team and residents to create meals for everyone
• Keep records as part of the Food Safety Program

Required profile

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
