Food Services Assistant

About the role

Estia Health is looking for a Food Services Assistant in Encounter Bay. The role sits within a community of over 14,000 employees across 96 homes in Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria, working to enrich the lives of residents and their families. The work is mostly on your feet during shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food and drink
• Clean, including washing dishes
• Change the menu by working with the team and residents to create meals that suit every individual
• Keep records as part of the Food Safety Program

Required profile

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
