Food & Beverage Supervisor - Part-Time

About the role

A part-time Food & Beverage Supervisor is needed at The Green Dining restaurant and the Banquets team at Mercure Gold Coast, a 292-room resort on the Gold Coast overlooking its pool and the Palm Meadows Golf Course. You will serve guests and lead the F&B team in the restaurant while supervising the Banquets team across the conference and event spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth operation of the Restaurant and Bar
• Coordinate the team to deliver seamless banquet and event service
• Make sure every guest receives excellent hospitality from all team members
• Handle guest concerns professionally and calmly
• Help with team briefings, training and onboarding of new team members
• Promote a positive team culture across the Food and Beverage team

Required profile

• Experience as a supervisor or team leader in a hotel or resort F&B team
• Ability to lead a team to success
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Reliable transport, as public transport is not available at required shift times
• Availability for weeknights, weekends and the holiday season

Required skills

• Excellent food and beverage knowledge, including dietaries and allergies
• RSA Certificate
