Duty Technician Supervisor

About the role

The Duty Technician Supervisor works hands‑on across the resort’s guest rooms, pools, restaurants, conference spaces and back‑of‑house areas, ensuring all facilities run smoothly. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will lead a small team while delivering high‑quality maintenance services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the resort.
• Supervise and support a team of four Handypersons.
• Prioritise and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
• Diagnose, maintain and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Monitor contractor activities and ensure compliance with Accor standards.
• Track utility consumption and identify energy‑conservation opportunities.
• Assist with rostering and staff training requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience supervising maintenance operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of plant and equipment maintenance.
• Guest‑focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Safety‑first attitude and knowledge of safe work practices.
• Flexible availability, including occasional weekends and after‑hours.

Required skills

• HVAC systems knowledge and qualification (highly regarded).
• Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems maintenance.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (HUB OS & Opera Cloud advantageous).
