Food & Beverage Outlet Manager - Akoya, The Langham Gold Coast

About the role

The Langham, Gold Coast, managed by Langham Hospitality Group, is looking for a service-centric, luxury-minded Food & Beverage Outlet Manager for its Akoya restaurant, a beachfront venue serving Queensland produce and seafood. The manager runs the day-to-day operations of the outlet, keeping guest experience and loyalty high while driving profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure guest experience and loyalty, and oversee quality
• Engage and support colleagues
• Manage the overall functions of the outlet and ensure efficient operations
• Maintain high standards of service
• Implement strategies for revenue generation and cost minimisation

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Restaurant or Venue Manager in a similar venue
• Proven leadership and customer service experience
• Good communicator who enjoys interacting with people
• Tertiary qualification in Hotel/Hospitality/Business or similar is highly regarded
• Australian work rights; sponsorship is not offered

Required skills

• Strong leadership and team management, with a passion for developing and motivating staff
• Passion for service excellence and superior hospitality
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Superior grooming and presentation
• Certifications such as RSA or First Aid are a plus
