Food & Beverage Attendant

About the role

Join the team at Mantra on Russell in Melbourne’s vibrant CBD as a Food & Beverage Attendant. You will welcome guests, guide them through the restaurant’s menu, and ensure every dining experience reflects the high standards of the Accor brand.

Key responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests in the on‑site restaurant and during events.
• Provide personalized food and beverage recommendations and upsell thoughtfully to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain clean and well‑set service areas, handling set‑up and pack‑down with attention to detail.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service and resolve any issues promptly.
• Continuously expand product knowledge to deliver accurate information to guests.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer‑facing hospitality roles.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
• Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or equivalent for the state.
• Passion for engaging with guests and working within a diverse team.

Required skills

• RSA certification
• Food and beverage service expertise, including table service and event service
• Coffee preparation skills (strongly valued)
