Food and Beverage Attendant

About the role

Stamford Plaza, a 5-star luxury hotel in Brisbane, is looking for Food and Beverage Attendants to join its outlets including LaBoca, In Room Dining Service and Banquets on a casual basis. Attendants provide 5-star customer service to guests and work closely with Food and Beverage Supervisors to ensure every guest receives an exceptional restaurant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of customer service and attend to all guest needs politely and cheerfully.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver food and drinks efficiently and confidently.
• Work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Experience preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests is beneficial.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage or bar attending in a 5-star hotel environment.
• Previous bartending experience is desirable.
• Organised, with an eye for detail, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while staying calm.
• Strong time management skills and ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• RSA certificate, Food Safety Handling Certificate (SITXFSA005 or SITXFSA006) and legal right to work in Australia.
• Australian resident or visa holder; must hold or obtain a National Police Clearance and undergo pre-employment vaccination.
