Fleet Allocator – Transport Coordination

About the role

Join Qube’s Carrington operations team as a Fleet Allocator, responsible for coordinating daily freight movements and ensuring timely, safe delivery. This fast‑paced position works closely with drivers, customers and internal teams to optimise fleet utilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate and schedule transport movements to meet customer and operational requirements.
• Monitor delivery schedules, track vehicle, trailer and equipment movements, and ensure on‑time completion.
• Manage driver and fleet utilisation to maximise efficiency.
• Liaise with drivers, customers and stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate transport records and update the Transport Management System (TMS).
• Provide drivers with job information, documentation and operational support.

Required profile

• Previous experience in transport allocation, fleet scheduling, logistics coordination or a similar role.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage changing priorities and make quick decisions.
• Commitment to safety, compliance and customer service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Solid computer skills, including data entry and reporting.
