Financial Services Officer

About the role

Elders is seeking a Financial Services Officer to join its Narrogin team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role supports both customers and colleagues with specialist knowledge, providing ongoing training and guidance so the whole branch is confident in delivering its full suite of financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the branch's go-to person for all financial services products.
• Train and share product knowledge with other team members.
• Develop and implement an annual branch financial services business plan to support yearly growth.
• Run sales campaigns to identify client opportunities across the product suite.
• Grow the deposit book by offering one-on-one personal service: opening accounts, maintenance, rollovers and enquiries, following procedures and complying fully with AML/CTF legislation.
• Help customers with seasonal finance products, including own-balance-sheet lending and lending through third-party providers.
• Refer clients to other products such as Agri Finance loans, commercial and asset finance and insurance.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in administrative functions.
• Experience in the agricultural or related industries is preferred but not essential.
• Track record of excellent customer service.
• Able to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Strong organisation and clear communication skills.
• Sales-focused or banking and financial services experience preferred.

Required skills

• Skilled in interpersonal communication and stakeholder relationship management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer operations.
