Assistant Manager – Agribusiness

About the role

As an Assistant Manager within ANZ’s Diversified Specialised Agribusiness team, you will work closely with the Senior Relationship Manager to support a portfolio of mid‑market agribusiness clients across Western Australia. The role combines relationship management, credit assessment and the delivery of tailored banking solutions to help customers grow sustainably.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of each client’s business and financial needs.
• Identify, assess and structure credit risk in consultation with the Senior Relationship Manager.
• Provide customer‑centric banking solutions and support account maintenance.
• Ensure the portfolio complies with all relevant policies, procedures and risk standards.
• Manage workflow controls across compliance and customer fulfilment processes.
• Collaborate with product specialists and internal stakeholders to deliver value‑added solutions.

Required profile

• Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to handle service queries and resolve minor issues.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail when reviewing agreements and contracts.
• Solid financial literacy, analytical ability and commercial acumen to assess creditworthiness.
• Capability to interpret financial trends and make informed recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
