Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst – ANZ

About the role

We are looking for an analytical and commercially minded FP&A Analyst to join our ANZ Finance team. Reporting to the Head of FP&A & M&A – ANZ, you will support financial planning, reporting and commercial analysis across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Support the annual budget, forecasting and long‑range planning processes.
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis and performance insights.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards and forecasting tools.
• Analyse revenue, costs, margins and key business drivers to support commercial decisions.
• Assist with pricing, profitability and cost‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure financial data integrity and support governance and reporting standards.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide meaningful financial insights.

Required profile

• Motivated finance professional with strong analytical capability and genuine interest in commercial finance.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, management accounting or public practice.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Proactive approach, willingness to learn and ability to manage competing priorities.
