Lecturer in Finance (Full‑time)

About the role

The university is seeking a full‑time Lecturer in Finance to join its Parramatta City Campus. You will teach undergraduate and postgraduate finance courses, contribute to research, and support the development of future finance professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and assess finance units across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
• Develop curriculum that reflects current industry practice and scholarly research.
• Engage in research, publish in reputable journals and assist with grant applications.
• Supervise higher degree research students and build a pipeline of doctoral candidates.
• Collaborate with academic colleagues and external partners to enhance teaching and research outcomes.
• Participate in academic administration and contribute to the School’s strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD in Finance or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated excellence in university‑level teaching and curriculum development.
• Developing research record with publications in high‑quality journals or potential to publish in ABDC A* / A journals.

• Strong communication, interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
