Lecturer in Finance (Full‑Time)

About the role

The University seeks a full‑time Lecturer in Finance to join its Parramatta City Campus. The successful candidate will teach across undergraduate and postgraduate finance programmes, contribute to curriculum design, and engage in scholarly research that supports the School’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and assess finance units for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Develop curriculum content that reflects current practice and research in finance.
• Conduct and publish research in reputable journals and support grant applications.
• Supervise higher degree research students and build a pipeline of doctoral candidates.
• Collaborate with academic colleagues and external partners to enhance teaching and research outcomes.
• Participate in academic administration and contribute to the School’s strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD in Finance or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated excellence in university‑level teaching with positive feedback.
• Developing research record with publications in high‑quality journals or clear potential to publish in ABDC A* / A journals.
• Commitment to student success, innovative teaching, and engagement with industry.
